Parish Pastoral Council Restructured

Please know that we have restructured our Parish Pastoral Council and amended the Bylaws to include the United in Ministry Committee.  As always, my first priority is that we do whatever the Lord wants us to do and to become. That means my hope is that under the leadership of the newly restructured Parish Pastoral Council we all become a more discerning community, listening to the Spirit and discerning what and where the Lord wants us to be. To that end, as of the June 2025 Council meeting, we have restructured the Council… reducing the size of the Council with the intent of it becoming a more strategic, visioning and discerning body which will meet more often and work with the United in Ministry Committee. The United in Ministry Committee is comprised of the leaders/co-leaders of all our ministries and is missioned to “promote and ensure open communication, collaboration and cohesiveness across parish ministry strategies and events.”



In addition, the United in Ministry (UIM) Committee now has a specific place in the Bylaws thus giving the UIM a foundational role in parish governance. The Parish Council takes seriously not only individual ministries, but expressly as effective collaborators in the one mission of the parish, to proclaim the good news.
